All of our programs are 100% free for students and their families thanks to the support and partnership of local businesses and individuals. Our Program Pyramid shows how students are introduced in After-School Tennis and Education Program and Summer Camps then can 'move up' to our more selective/intensive programs that accelerate growth and development.
Tennis is the "hook" that keeps students engaged in our program. Using a games-based approach, everyone can learn the basics of this life-long sport!
All students complete a 16-lesson life skills curriculum in the classroom prior to going on court for their daily lesson!
Physical fitness is a major component of becoming the best version of oneself. We provide sports-development drills and activities that enhance hand-eye coordination, agility, balance and overall physical health.
A 30-minute classroom lesson begins each day's program that teach students about character and developing a growth mindset. Our goal is get young people excited about school, college and all opportunities available to them!
The SVB Tennis Foundation Ambassador Program is a select group of high school students who wish to grow their tennis game while giving back to the younger students in their community. Ambassadors must complete an application in order to be accepted to the one-year commitment. Ambassadors are offered weekly group and private lessons, a membership at the Mouratoglou Academy of Zephyrhills, and equipment needed to perform their best. Each Ambassador is required to commit to a specific number of hours volunteering in our Tennis and Education After-School Program. Ambassadors become junior coaches, mentors and tutors to young students.
Students are recruited from our Elementary and Middle School programs to join intensive, year-round training at Zephyr Park and Mouratoglou Academy. These students are mentored by ambassadors and are on a pathway to play on their high school teams, college and beyond!
By partnering with existing free and subsidized camps, we can continue to serve students throughout Pasco County. Our coaches and ambassadors travel to each camp location bringing all equipment needed to run our life-changing programs!
Our Summer Camp partners include, but are not limited to:
City of Zephyrhills' 'Summer REC'
Pasco County Parks and Rec
Lewis Abraham Boys & Girls Club of Lacoochee
Pasco County Schools 'STAR' Camp
